Gazzetta: Milan to have first foreign president since 1909

It appears that AC Milan will be run by their first non-Italian president since 1909, when Alfred Edwards handed over power to Giannino Camperio - their second foreigner in their entire history.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the names of Li Yonghong and Han Li have been mentioned. The former is the figurehead of the Sino-Europe Sports Investment Management Changxing, seeing as he’s the one trying to band together enough investors to buy the club in mid-November.

Han, on the other hand, is his right-hand man, and the executive director of Sino-Europe.

Though the head could well be Chinese, the shoulders will be Italian, with CEO Marco Fassone being flanked by three Italian advisors, Milan fans who are high up in the Italian business world.
