Genoa are pressing for the transfer of Milan forward Gianluca Lapadula. After finding a deal for an Andrea Bertolacci loan to the Grifone yesterday, the Ligurian club have also found agreement today for the Peruvian-Italian striker who will move to Genoa on a loan with a purchase 11 million EUR. The Rossoblu are expected to pay 2 million EUR immediately to Milan, as they restructure their squad after a disappointing season last term.

Lapadula has been on and off the radar of Genoa and Lazio for the past weeks, as Milan appear more than ready to listen to offers for both Lapagol and his teammate up front Carlos Bacca. As the Rossoneri identity takes shape more and more with every incoming transfer, those deemed surplus will be on their way out. For Lapadula, who scored 8 goals and added 4 assists in limited appearances for Milan, it will be a positive move where he will find consistency and responsibility.
