Giorgio Chiellini praises future Juventus signing

Juventus were held to 2-2 draw by Atalanta yesterday night with the bianconeri who left the top of the Serie A table after 40 successive games. Atalanta recovered from two goals thanks to Mattia Caldara and Bryan Cristante.

Caldara netted the 9th Serie A goal in his career and confirmed to be one of the most promising and reliable defenders in the Italian league.

Juventus have already signed this promising 23-year-old who will arrive in Turin at the end of the season. Caldara is currently out on loan at Atalanta.

At the end of the game his future teammate Giorgio Chiellini told Sky Sport that Caldara “is a good guy and a good player. He –said Chiellini talking about Caldara – will have a chance to grow here and next season we’ll welcome him with open arms.”

Juventus invested € 15 million to sign Caldara this past January. The deal includes bonuses and add-ons for over € 10 more million. The promising defender is one of Juventus’ top 5 most expensive defenders ever.
