Gomez shows consequences of Lichtsteiner elbow

Atalanta star Papu Gomez has hit back at criticisms of Juventus fans who had accused him of being a diver. The Argentinean winger was elbowed by Stephan Lichtsteiner in the build-up of the action of Juventus’ third goal against Atalanta.




The referee, however, disallowed Juventus goal after a VAR check. Stephan Lichtsteiner was booked and Atalanta were given a free kick instead. Gomez told Premium Sport at the end of the game that the Juve defender should have been sent off for his challenge and today he has showed the consequences of Lichtsteiner’s elbow in his official Instagram account.
