Guardian: Fabregas the first January signing of AC Milan

Cesc Fabregas will be the first signing of AC Milan next January, the Guardian claims.

It is widely known that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte does not believe that Fabregas can play a vital part in his Chelsea squad this season and would be open to give him away either on loan or on a permanent basis. Fabregas rejected a move to the San Siro in the deadline day of the summer transfer window, but things might change in 2017.

AC Milan are always in contact with the player’s entourage and Chelsea are open to sell the Spaniard on a loan deal with compulsory buy-out clause. Fabregas’s Chelsea deal expires in 2019 and the rossoneri are ready to offer € 3 million for the player’s six-month loan, though the two parties are also discussing about a potential transfer fee.

England press is pretty sure, however, that the former Arsenal and Barcelona man will be the first signing of AC Milan in the next transfer window.
