Has Inter target Joao Mario just played his last game with Sporting Lisbon?
Sporting Lisbon’s manager Jorge Jesus replaced the 23-year-old in the stoppage time. Joao Mario could have played his farewell game with Sporting, just like Marko Pjaca did last month with Dinamo Zagreb, hours before moving to Juventus.
Jorge Jesus refused to answer reporters’ questions on the future of Joao Mario yesterday, but Portuguese media insist the midfielder will arrive in Milan tomorrow to complete Inter medical.
Joao Mario has agreed a five-year, € 3 million a year deal, whilst Sporting Lisbon are considering the nerazzurri’s € 45 million bid. The player’s agent Kia Joorabchian is in Lisbon to negotiate with the Portuguese club.
