Arsenal’s quest to land Monaco winger Thomas Lemar continues. The Gunners have made the 21-year-old Frenchman one of their priority summer targets but boss Arsene Wenger has now been told he’ll have to pay top price to bring the player to The Emirates next season.
 

According to The Daily Star, the club from the principality are ready to sit down and discuss the matters if The Gunners are ready to part with £55M. Monaco are unhappy at the amount of their big name players leaving the club and are trying their best to keep others on the Cote d’Azur ahead of the new campaign.
 

The journal writes however, that Monaco will sell Lemar if their asking price is met otherwise he will remain in place at his current employers. Wenger made an initial £25M bid for his fellow countryman but with Manchester City having recently signed Kyle Walker for a fee expected to finally reach £54M, Monaco are not prepared to let another of their star players leave on the cheap.
