Gonzalo Higuain did not join the Argentina national team as he has been concentrating on improving his game-shape. In an interview with Elite Sport, Higuain spoke about his past at Napoli : "I left Real Madrid because I needed more space and my experience at Napoli has been really fantastic. I really enjoyed the squad, the city and the fans. It gave me goosebumps thinking that Maradona played here and that people compared me to him.
