How Ancelotti's sacking affects Man Utd and Juve

As of yesterday, Bayern Munich are in search of a new manager after sacking Carlo Ancelotti. Similarly, Manchester United and Juventus may be in need of a fresh search for a forward.

Both clubs have been heavily linked with signing Thomas Mueller from the Bavarians this summer. The German international was unable to crack Ancelotti’s XI, and his time with Bayern seemed to limited.

Now, with a new manager on his way to Allianz Arena, it’s easy to imagine Mueller finding his way back in to the XI with regularity. Such an eventuality would preclude his movement to another club, or at least make it much more difficult.

If the 28-year-old can prove to be an integral part of the German champion’s squad, it will be very difficult for Jose Mourinho or Massimiliano Allegri to pry him away. With the German national team, Mueller has scored a remarkable 10 goals in 13 matches, making him one of the most dangerous international players to ever play the sport.
