How Man City shedding Bony could allow Everton to add Gabbiadini
Striker Manolo Gabbiadini doesn’t want to play second fiddle to Arkadiusz Milik, and has long since been the subject of an agreement between Napoli and Everton. Though he’d rather stay in Italy, he would rather not be a glorified sub.
Radio Kiss Kiss are also confirming, however, that Napoli won’t risk leaving Milik without any backup, and will only let Gabbiadini go if they find a replacement.
Problem is, that won’t be Leonardo Pavoletti, since his president, Enrico Preziosi, refused a €21 million offer for him. Cristiano Giuntoli always seems to have an ace up his sleeve, however, and has since made an attempt to nab Wilfried Bony on loan from Manchester City, with compulsory buyback.
