How Morata’s Man Utd move could collapse due to Ronaldo

Alvaro Morata is being heavily linked with joining Manchester United in the summer. The Spaniard has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Red Devils but the two clubs have yet to reach an economic agreement.

According to several reports in Italy, however, the ‘announced’ transfer of Morata to the Old Trafford could collapse due to Cristiano Ronaldo’s decision to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Portuguese star is reportedly unhappy in the Spanish capital as he feels mistreated by his own club. Ronaldo believes that Real Madrid have never defended him during his trial for tax fraud and he believes the right time to leave Madrid has finally come.
With Morata looking for more game time somewhere away from the Santiago Bernabeu, a possible departure of Ronaldo could change his situation at the club.

Real Madrid are trying to persuade Ronaldo to change his mind but, at the same time, they are also looking for possible replacements and Morata could become the right person at the right time. The Spaniard could suddenly become a vital player for Real Madrid leaving Manchester United with empty hands.
