Inter: Agazzi to replace Handanovic. AC Milan: duel with Barça for Honda

Inter Milan executives keep on being very active on the transfer market, and, as highlighted yesterday, at the moment they are focused on FC Basel defender Aleksandar Dragovic even if signing a new center back didn’t seem to be a priority for Lombard club; as explained by calciomercato.com, it’s Inter coach Walter Mazzarri indeed that has expressely required the Austria international, who, in his three-men defense, can play both on the center and on the flank; in any case, after finding an agreement with the 22 year old –that should sign a four-year deal at 1,1 million euros per season- the nerazzurri must now negotiate with the Swiss club, that, according to Tuttosport, is asking 7 million euros, i.e. one million more than the amount offered by the Italians. Essential for Mazzarri’s formation is the signing of a duptile midfielder, and, despite AS Roma’s interest, the nerazzurri’s main target ,according to Sportitalia transfer marker expert Alfredo Pedullà, remains Cagliari 25 year old Radja Nainggolan; according to the Corriere dello Sport, while negotiating with the rossoblu for the Belgium international, the Lombard club could also ask them 28 year old goalkeeper Michael Agazzi, who could replace same-aged Samir Handanovic if Barcelona would decide to swoop on the Slovenia international.

The blaugrana, perhaps, seem ready to compete on the market also with Inter’s city rivals AC Milan: according to El Mundo Deportivo, in fact, the Catalan club has joined the rossoneri in the hunt for 27 year old Japanese attacking midfielder Keisuke Honda, whose contract with CSKA Moscow will expire at the end of the year.
