Inter ask for €30m PSG player, may threaten Perisic move to Manchester

Inter have entered the race for Blaise Matuidi, and have met with agent Mino Raiola, the Gazzetta dello Sport reveal.

The Manchester United target would, ironically, harm the Red Devils in more ways than one if he joined the Nerazzurri.

PSG are known to be interested in Ivan Perisic, who has been repeatedly linked to a 40-50 million move to Greater Manchester.

There is the possibility that Matuidi is being used to negotiate a Perisic move. The Nerazzurri met with sporting director Antero Henrique recently, with Lucas Moura the topic of conversation.

Inter also like Marquinhos, Thiago Silva and Adrien Rabiot.

Inter went to ask agent Raiola directly about Matuidi, who came close to leaving last summer for Juventus.

The 30-year-old is worth 30 million (a sum Inter believe to be excessive), and has struggled for playing time under new Coach Unai Emery.

Matuidi has scored 23 goals in 200 Ligue 1 appearances with the Parisians, joining in 2011 after the club was taken over by Qatar Sports Investments.
