Inter: back for Carew. AC Milan: Ambrosini to the US?

As well known, for the moment Inter Milan seem to have decided not to replace their 33 year old forward Diego Milito, seriously injured, with a free agent, but, after last night’s draw against AC Milan, the nerazzurri president Massimo Moratti have not excluded a changement of strategy. And, according to Sky transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Lombard club is thinking again about 33 year old John Carew, with 30 year old Abdelamid Hossam Ahmed Hussein aka Mido as an alternative to the Norway international. Inter will need in any case to reinforce their offensive line for the next season, and one of their main targets, Manchester City 26 year old Edin Dzeko seems always farther to reach: the Bosnia international has in fact declared to Kicker that he would like to move back to Germany, even if he still has two more years on his contract with the Citizens and is then focused only on his actual club.

Yesterday 35 year old midfielder Massimo Ambrosini, whose contract with AC Milan will expire at the end of the current season, has declared that if he would have to leave the rossoneri he would certainly move abroad; today his agent Moreno Roggi has told TMW that his client has always dreamt to try an experience in the Major League Soccer. The Lombard club, seems in any case intentioned to rejuvenate its midfield, but one of its main targets, Paris Saint-Germain 20 year old Marco Verratti is already in talks with the French club to extend his deal.
