Inter: Brazilian meeting between Thohir and Gabigol
Inter president Erick Thohir, however, has yet to give up on the player. The Indonesian businessman met Giuliano Bertolucci in Rio during the Olympic Games’ football final. Bertolucci is one of the middleman involved in the Gabigol deal and, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Thohir has convinced him to take time before making a final decision on the player’s future.
Juventus are still in pole, but Inter believe that signing Gabigol is not going to be an impossible task. The arrival of Gabigol, to either Juventus or Inter, however, is not going to happen before January 2017.
Actually, Thohir would be open to buy the player now and bring him at Inter in June 2017, leaving him at Santos for one more season or giving the highly-rated Brazilian star to another Serie A club on a six-month loan from next January.
Olympic games are finished and Gabigol has to take a final decision. Will he join Inter or Juve?
