Inter: Cassano won't join. AC Milan: sprint for Munoz

In these last hours of the winter transfer window, Inter Milan keep on seeking a midfielder, and, as reported by Tuttosport, Lazio don’t seem intentioned to let 36-year-old Cristian Ledesma leave for free immediately but require a 1,5 million euros transfer fee, so that the nerazzurri are waiting to swoop again on 29-year-old midfielder Lassana Diarra, who has already terminated his contract with Lokomotiv Moscow but is still waiting for FIFA’s endorsement. Even for this reason, as outlined by the Corriere dello Sport, 27-year-old Zdravko Kuzmanovic could finally remain at “San Siro” despite Hamburg’s interest. The Lombard club is also seeking a new forward, and, according to the same media, its first team’s coach Roberto Mancini is not too happy about the possibility to sign 32-year-old Antonio Cassano, who has recently terminated his contract with Parma: the possibility to sign the former Real Madrid player has been also denied to Sky by Inter’s Director of Football Piero Ausilio. Finally, regarding the defense, the nerazzurri are thinking about Manchester City 26-year-old Micah Richards, but –according to gianlucadimarzio.com- the viola have no intention to let the Englishman leave before the end of the season. Also city rivals AC Milan are seeking a defender, and are still hoping to obtain Palermo 24-year-old Ezequiel Munoz, for whom they have an agreement for the end of the season.
