Inter chase 'goalkeeper of the future', Man Utd product for January move

Inter Milan are working hard to bring Aston Villa goalkepeer Pierluigi Gollini back to Italy.

Gollini has started 20 games in the Championship this season, as the Villains hope to get back to the Premier League as soon as possible.

The 21-year-old is considered to be a very promising prospect in Italy, but has flattered to deceive in England, where a recent clanger against Norwich City led Coach Steve Bruce to replace him with Mark Bunn.

The Gazzetta dello Sport  (via Yahoo) claim that Inter consider him to be the goalkeeper of the future, and have prompted his agent to fly to Britain to see the deal through. The Nerazzurri are, to be specific, hoping for a loan deal with option to buy Gollini outright.

Gollini was brought back to England by Villa this summer for €5 million, having previously spent two seasons in Manchester United's youth setup.

He was behind the sticks for Verona last season, only for the Northern side to be relegated to Serie B.
