Inter, Diarra open to a transfer

Marseille midfielder Lassana Diarra is open to a move away from the club despite having three-years left on his current contract. The 31-year-old claims that he has a private agreement that allows him to walk away from the Ligue 1 side whenever he wants. This news will be of particular interest to Inter, who have been following him since last season.

    TWO-PART CONTRACTS
Diarra recently explained that; “My contract is divided into two parts; a conventional one and one for private purposes. My fate is in my own hands and Marseille know this. Today, without failing to respect anyone, I do not need permissions from the club to leave Marseille". He continued by stating that; “The only thing I can say at the moment is that I have not signed with Paris Saint-Germain. There are opportunities which are springing up everywhere with big clubs that have had difficult seasons and want to sign me. We will see I have plenty of time”.

    THE VERSION OF LABRUNE
These statements are certainly surprising to club President Vincent Labrune, who has a different take on events, declaring that; “I have no comment to make on the intentions of Lass. Up to this moment he’s not told me that he wants to go away and I have not received any bids for him".
