Inter linked with former hero Maicon!
Despite the Swiss international being very keen to join the Nerazzurri, he has clashed with the Bianconeri’s desire to not do business with Inter, owing to their stonewalling of any talks about Mauro Icardi or Marcelo Brozovic.
Director of Sport Piero Ausilio has, however, got himself a new lead: Maicon! The Brazilian’s agent has expressed his client’s wish to return to the club with whom he won the Treble back in 2010. Inter need to discuss this with Coach Frank De Boer, but the good news is that Maicon would, as someone whose last team was Italian, not count as a non-EU player.
