Inter, Man United target close to signing new Roma deal

Roma are very close to extending Radja Nainggolan’s deal, according to Sky Italia.

The 29-year-old star was linked to Manchester United, Chelsea and Inter, with Luciano Spalletti - who had worked with him at Roma - admitting that the Nerazzurri would “like to sign Nainggolan as he could help this roster improve a lot...".

Roma and the Belgian international’s representatives are in agreement on all the major points, something which wasn’t the case a few weeks ago when Nainggolan himself said that he “had kept his word. Now it’s time for Roma to do the same”.

The Daily Mail recently wrote that the Giallorossi were actually willing to trade away the midfielder to Manchester United, with Jose Mourinho making it clear that he wanted the Serie A star - and scorer of 28 Serie A goals for them in three-and-a-half seasons - to join to beef up his midfield.

The Belgian international is widely considered to be one of Calcio’s best midfielders.
