One of Inter Milan’s priorities is the signimg of a high-rated midfielder, and, as well known, their main targets for that position is Corinthians 24 year old Paulinho; according to Tuttosport, the Lombard club's executives are ready to fly to Sao Paulo to negotiate with the Timao, while La Gazzetta dello Sport sublines that selling 24 year old attacking midfielder Ricardo Alvarez could be the key to obtain the Brazil international. The nerazzurri are also trying to enforce their defense, and if they will succeed in yielding to Genoa 28 year old Matias Silvestre they could swoop on 24 year old Douglas Franco Teixeira “Douglas”, whose contract with Twente will expire at the end of the current season; on the contrary Inter seem to have definetely renounced to Chievo 26 year old Marco Andreolli, who could finally move to Napoli.

The azzurri, according to Tuttosport, are also tracking one of Juventus’main targets for their defense, Atalanta 28 year old Federico Peluso, even if the Lombard club’s General Manager Pierpaolo Marino has declared to Sky Sport 24 that the bianconeri have the priority for the Italy international; an alternative to Peluso, still according to the Piedmontese media, could be Cagliari 25 year old Davide Astori.
