Inter: Nilton won't join. AC Milan: Rami wants to stay
Inter Milan are seeking a high-rated midfielder, and, according to the latest rumours, they have carried out the negotiation for Cruzeiro 26 year old Nilton Ferreira Junior, aka Nilton; but, interviewed by calciomercato.com, the Brazilian club’s Technical Director Alexandre Mattos has declared that he has not been contacted by the nerazzurri, and that, in any case, there are no possibilities for the player to leave. On the contrary, according to the London Evening Standard, the Lombard club is about to make an offer for Chelsea same-aged Obi Mikel. Another option remains, as reported yesterday, Blackburn 22 year old Tom Ince, actually on loan at Crystal Palace: during his trip to London, Inter president Erick Thohir has met the player’s father Paul Ince, a former nerazzurro. At the same time, still regarding the midfield, there are still rumours regarding the possibility for 27 year old Fredy Guarin to leave “San Siro”: the former FC Porto, despite a new contract signed, remains a Juventus target. On the contrary, as highlighted by calciomercato.com, the Lombard club is tracking another Colombia international –PSV Eindhoven 22 year old full back Santiago Arias. As reported in the last days, city rivals AC Milan are trying to sign on permanent deal 28 year old defender Adil Rami, actually on loan from Valencia: through the Lombard club’s official website, the France international has expressed the wish to end his career in Milan.
