Inter plan massive swoop for Arsenal wantaway Alexis Sanchez
The Nerazzurri are looking for alternatives in attack, and especially some star power. Though he netted in last week’s Milan Derby, Ivan Perisic hasn’t been consistent, while Mauro Icardi has tended to disappear from certain games.
Sanchez has netted eight times in all competitions, and added five more assists. His current deal expires in 2018, and his anger at Arsenals’ lack of ambition and success had seen him be linked to Juventus on more than one occasion.
The Nerazzurri are planning to reinforce their squad with numerous acquisitions, worth a total €150m. According to a number of sources, they are said to need at least two defenders, as well as a centre midfielder capable of building up play and keeping things ticking.
Sanchez is also on Manchester City’s radar, but has previously been reported to want a return to Italy, where he played for Udinese before moving to Barcelona.
