    • G. Rossi opens Roma door

The Giallorossi have a chance to sign Giuseppe Rossi from Villarreal next summer according to the player’s agent.

“Roma deserve respect, because they are a big club and their directors (Sabatini and Baldini) are a guarantee,” explained Federico Pastorello.

“I spoke a lot about Roma with Giuseppe. He is a big fan of Spanish football so he admires Luis Enrique. It would a good idea which is why we are keeping our door open.

“Still rather than €15M, I think that any club which wants to sign him will have to pay around €20M. Giuseppe has plenty of offers from both Italian and foreign clubs, but he wants to play at the top and win something.

“Champions League football is almost an obsession for him and returning to Italy would be ideal,” concluded Pastorello.

The agent also confirmed that Rossi is recovering from his injury very well and that will return to action at the end of April in order to be in perfect form for the Euro 2012.
