Inter to use Jiangsu to splurge €35m on Joao Mario!

The Inter transfer situation is really heating up: the Gazzetta dello Sport writes that the Nerazzurri are really pressing for European Champion Joao Mario, and are set to offer €35 million plus bonuses for the Portuguese midfielder.

Their secret to signing the 23-year-old despite their Financial Fair Play restrictions? Simple! The Beneamata wants to sign Mario through Chinese Premier League club Jiangsu Suning, who will then loan him to Inter.

Otherwise, the Nerazzurri have two alternatives: Palmeiras' Gabriel Jesus has long been linked to them, but is now set to be a January buy, not a summer one. With the Nerazzurri letting go of Antonio Candreva, Lazio striker Keita is being preferred to Napoli's Manolo Gabbiadini.

With their pursuit of Domenico Berardi and Federico Bernardeschi frustrated, Inter are still interested in English Premier League midfielders Juan Cuadrado and Erik Lamela.

A number of players are headed for the exit: defender Juan Jesus is closer and closer to AS Roma, whilst Dodo is set to return to Sampdoria. Davide Santon is being purused by Crystal Palace and Middlesborough.

Meanwhile, Tuttosport claim that Mauro Icardi is set to be replaced by Edin Dzeko if Juventus end up snagging him.
