Italy to announce Conte’s successor on Tuesday
Sources of the Italian federation have denied that president Carlo Tavecchio has met the former Torino gaffer in Rome, though they’ve confirmed that the duo were in the capital yesterday alongside new azzurri technical director Marcello Lippi.
Ventura is expected to be announced as new Italy boss on Tuesday. He will pen a new € 1.5 million deal with a bonus for the qualification to the 2018 World Cup.
