    It looks like things are working out for Sinisa Mihajlovic. Milan's three wins on the trot haven't just brought nine points to the war chest, but have brought a few players back from the dead, too: Riccardo Montolivo is back from injury and shielding the defence, Alex is looking more and more like a starter with every outing, whilst Alessio Cerci is providing the attack with some verve. Carlos Bacca, from his part, never went anywhere, and has been ruthless in front of goal by burying six shots on goal out of nine.

    Another player who has always been on top, Giacomo Bonaventura, has surpassed himself so far, adding two more assists to take his seasonal tally to six. Having set up Luiz Adriano (Empoli and Sassuolo), Carlos Bacca (Palermo) and Cristian Zapata (Udinese), the former Atalanta midfielder added a key pass to Bacca and one more to Philippe Mexes.

    And to think Inter turned down the chance to sign him on transfer deadline day, allowing the Rossoneri to nab him and halt his tears of disappointment. That one's gone well for the Nerazzurri, hasn't it?
