Juve, a sea of bonuses for Gomes: the offer

If the agent Jorge Mendes is involved then things are never easy, as Juventus continue their progress for Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes. The 22-year-old Portuguese international is top of the wanted list of Marotta and Parici and the bianconeri are set to make a move as competition to secure his signature will be fierce.

    THE OFFER
Juventus are willing to pay Valencia €30 million for their player, plus bonuses connected to appearances and silverware won. The Spanish club value their man at €45-50 million and this is the figure that the Italian champions would eventually pay when the add-ons are taken into account. Juventus have their plan in place; the main stumbling block is called Jorge Mendes.

    SUPER-AGENT
Mendes has preferred links with Manchester United, even more so if one of his clients, Jose Mourinho, takes over as manager in the summer. For this reason, Mendes would prefer to send Gomes to Old Trafford but Juventus are strong players here and will try to convince them to consider a switch to Serie A. Although Mendes prefers to do business in England, Marotta and Parici will refuse to surrender and continue to chase their ideal midfielder.
