Juve could lose €30m striker to PSG; Chelsea and Arsenal interested

PSG are set to enter the market for Patrik Shick, a player who looked like he was going to Juventus, according to Il Secolo XIX.

The Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal target is liked by a number of clubs all over Europe, and looked set to move to Inter earlier this summer before he agreed to terms with Juventus.

Despite Sampdoria agreeing to sell him to Juve for 30 million a few weeks ago, it looks like the move has been put on hold because of cardiac irregularities, which will keep the 21-year away from football for 45 to 60 days.

This has prompted the anger of Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero, and may be an opportunity for PSG, who don’t mind waiting for that long (they have Edinson Cavani, after all).

"It's a farce," Ferrero told local Genoese paper Il Secolo XIX (via goal). "He's not healthy, he's really healthy. What they found is the equivalent of a cold!

"If Juventus want to back out, we'll sell him to one of the other four clubs that are ready to buy him.

"I think he'll eventually go to Juventus. If not, we'll take him back and add a nice 'maybe', given his release clause has now expired and we can sell him for not just €30m but possibly €40-50m."

Schick scored 13 goals in all competitions, adding three assists despite only starting 14 out of 32 Serie A games.
