Juve hoping to capture Polish international as new vice Buffon

Juventus is looking for Gigi Buffon’s back up, and Tuttosport writes that their next idea is to bring to Szczesny, the Roma goalkeeper who will return to Arsenal after two years of loans to the capital club. The offer is ready for the Polish man between the posts, 4 million EUR from the Bianconeri. The 27 year old however, will hardly be willing to experience another season as a second goalkeeper in a year leading to the World Cup.

It appears as if Neto will be leaving the Scudetto champions this summer, likely for the same reason as the Polish international. As the World Cup approaches, international coaches will want to use the players that have been playing more prominently and are in top form. After sharing time with young Brazilian goalie Alisson, Szczesny can use this summer to find a starting role with a club that will entrust him that responsibility. His time in Rome have been a huge step in his progression both as a player and as a professional, and whichever team finds him in their starting eleven this fall will be happy to have him.
