Nicola Balice of CM.com reports on the topic of Juve’s wantaway backup goalie, Neto. There is strong progress in the negotiations between Juventus and Valencia for Neto. The Spanish club has raised its offer of more than 7 million EUR plus bonuses and has found an agreement with the Bianconeri player. Once the latest details are settled, the Brazilian goalkeeper will have the go-ahead to move to Spain.

VALENCIA IN THE LEAD - Neto seems satisfied with the move, and now it's up to Valencia. Yesterday, the Brazilian goalkeeper visited the Hotel Parigi in Milan. In the long hours of meetings held by Fabio Paratici and Beppe Marotta, as documented by Calciomercato.com, there was space also for a brief direct conversation between Neto and his agent Stefano Castagna, a summit that would have seen the goalkeeper communicate to Juventus his decision to have finally chosen Valencia after carefully evaluating all the proposals submitted by his agent.

SPAIN BOUND - Valencia emissaries arrived in Milan for a deal that sees Juventus always intent on selling the goalkeeper, albeit without discounts from their initial valuation of around 10 million EUR, as offered by Watford, but the British club was not able to convince Neto. The player, after visiting Spanish clubs and directors, does not seem to have any doubts about his future in Valencia, despite their initial offer of less than 7 million EUR already refused by Juve. It is therefore possible to have a meeting point halfway based on the player's will.

NAPOLI ATTENTIVE - In addition to Watford, a new attempt by Napoli has been reported in the past few hours due to the lack of resolve around Reina's position. But decisive in Neto's final decision remains the ability to play with continuity and be an undisputed starter, a factor guaranteed only at Valencia. Then if they had a definite deal with Juve, the Bianconeri would also have the chance to unlock the negotiation for Wojciech Szczesny from Arsenal.
