Juventus deny they received Chelsea's improved bid for Alex Sandro

Tuttosport have reported that Juventus have denied that they have received any formal offer from Chelsea for the services of highly-rated wing-back Alex Sandro.

This is despite recent reports from British tabloid newspaper The Sun that an offer was made for the Brazilian international. The newspaper said that an offer was made to the player of a salary of 5.5m EUROs a season, an extensive contract of five years and, too, a regular role in the club’s Champions League ventures next season.

The Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been reported to be eying up 26-year-old Sandro for several weeks now, and with the recent fallout and then makeup with the Blues’ owner Roman Abramovich, it looks as if the Russian billionaire wants to satisfy the demands of the fiery Italian manager.

But, it is thought, that no formal approach for the defender has been made of yet, leaving this saga to draw out for a considerable period of time yet.
