Juventus: Dragovic on the radar once again

Juventus return to an old flame as they continue to monitor with interest, defender Aleksandar Dragovic.

The Serbian born Austrian international, is currently under contract at Dynamo Kiev until 2018 but reports suggest he wants to leave at the end of the season. The bianconeri see him as a potential replacement for Martin Caceres, who is set to leave Turin this summer. There is a stumbling block however and that is the price his current club value him at; the Ukranian side is thought to be prepared to sell for around €15 million, which is much higher than the Old Lady are prepared to pay.

The 25-year-old grew up in the youth ranks at Austria Vienna where he made his first-team debut at 17. In 2008 he joined Swiss side Basel and his outstanding display’s earnt him a call-up to the Austrian national team. In 2013, Dynamo Kiev pipped Roma and Inter to his signature for €9 million. His current salary is believed to be around €2.5 million per season. Three years after he slipped through the Serie A net, this summer could see him head to Turin.
