Juventus: Isla won't leave. AC Milan: Honda always closer

As reported yesterday, the second phase of Juventus’s transfer market campaign –that foresees the departures of those players who are no longer part of coach Antonio Conte’s plans- has begun. Today, the Piedmontese club’s General Manager Giuseppe Marotta has released some interesting declarations regarding this subject: first of all, the executive has confirmed that 25 year old right back Mauricio Isla won’t leave and will be normally part of Conte’s squad; regarding 30 year old forward Mirko Vucinic, Marotta stated that, as well as for Giaccherini, is always the players who decide, and that, in any case, only one forward should leave. This one could be 28 year old Alessandro Matri, who, according to Radio Kiss Kiss, could join Napoli. Regarding the other positions, Manchester City, according to La Stampa, are keen on 29 year old right back Stephan Lichtsteiner, while, as reported by europacalcio.it, Zenit St. Petersburg coach Luciano Spalletti has required 27 year old right back, who could join the Russian club on loan, while, according to the Corriere Mercantile, also Sampdoria are interested in 26 year old left back Paolo De Ceglie.

As well known, AC Milan have sent their agents to Russia to try to obtain 27 year old attacking midfielder Keisuke Honda from CSKA Moscow: as highlighted by calciomercato.com, the rossoneri have dined with the Japan international and, awaiting to meet the Armeytsy General Manager Ivan Babaev, seem quite optimistic about the possibility to carry out the negotiation.
