Juventus reject Chelsea’s opening bid for star defender

Chelsea are being linked with signing several Juventus players this summer. The Blues’ boss Antonio Conte is known to be a long time admirer of Leonardo Bonucci who he trained in Turin and with Italy national team.

The 30-year-old, however, is not the only Juve star Conte has targeted. Claudio Marchisio is also being monitored by the Premier League champions and Brazilian left-back Alex Sandro has emerged as a top target of Chelsea as well.

According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea have made an opening € 60 million bid to sign the former Porto star but Juventus have not accepted the Blues’ initial proposal.

Tuttosport also claims the Brazilian is a transfer target of Chelsea and claim Conte is already preparing an improved €60 million bid for the 25-year-old who joined the J Stadium in summer 2015 for € 26 million. Both news are reported in the papers’ front pages which you can see in our gallery on the left-hand side of this article.
