Juventus season tickets sell out in record time

Juventus have broken another record even before entering the pitch for the first official game of the 2016/17 campaign.

The Old Lady has already sold out all the 29.300 seasonal tickets available for the 2016-17 campaign. Many tickets were sold after the arrival of Higuain at the club.

Juventus have released a statement on their official website:

Following a history-making campaign on the pitch, Juventus has broken a significant record off it at the first time of asking by selling its highest ever number of season tickets for the upcoming 2016/17 season.

In addition to the 4,000 places reserved at the Juventus Premium Club, 25,300 Bianconeri fans have booked their seats at the iconic Juventus Stadium, providing a guaranteed 29,300 fans ready to cheer on Massimiliano Allegri’s men for each and every home league fixture over the course of the next year.

The record follows the club’s decision to raise the overall allocation to season ticket holders at the ground by 1,300 in view of the ever-increasing level of demand, while maintaining a considerable number of tickets for supporters attending individual matches.

The Bianconeri begin their title defence at home to Fiorentina on Saturday 20 August (kick-off 20.45 CEST), for which J1897 and Premium Members are already permitted to book their seat during a priority purchase phase lasting until Thursday 4 August.

Remaining tickets for the keenly awaited curtain-raiser will then go on general sale this Friday.
