Kingsley Coman reveals why he decided to leave Juventus

Kingsley Coman joined Bayern Munich from Juventus on a two-year-loan deal, though the Bavarians can make his move permanent for a fee of € 28 million in 2017.

Talking to RMC Sport, the French International revealed why he decided to leave PSG and Juventus before moving to the Allianz Arena.

“The PSG dressing room was too divided. I was criticized for that choice, but I did what I had to do. I made the right choice and where I am now proves that.”

“In Italy I could get more playing time. There is much more work to do in Italy. Teams have a defensive mentality and sometimes it was not good to develop my qualities.

Evra and Pogba were my mentors. At the beginning I was a bit alone because they were playing the World Cup, when they came back everything became easier. It was great.”

“At the end of last season I knew I would have played more. I talked to Allegri and I even played a few minutes in the Champions League final. I guess it was a way to say he trusted me.”

“However, I could not develop too much playing with Juventus’ system. I was playing as  a striker, out of my favourite position. I am doing much better now thanks to Pep Guariola’s style.”

“Here I am playing better than what I could do at Juve. I prefer the left flank, even if I played the best games on the right this season.”

“I have lot of dreams, but I prefer not to disclose them.”
