Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has been speaking to footempo.com as his Senegal team prepares to take on South Africa in the African section of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. He was asked about the current situation with his club side and he had this stark warning; “We are in great difficulty at the moment but I feel we have a great squad and we can exit this dark period”. 
 

Asked about his fellow countryman Keita Balde and his return to form in Serie A Koulibaly explained that; “He brings freshness and vitality to the team and he’s now a really important player for our country. He’s integrated very well and now it’s up to us to provide him with the ammunition to score goals”.

The two players were in direct opposition last weekend when Keita scored Lazio’s goal in a 1-1 draw at the San Paolo as Napoli lost more vital ground in the race for the Scudetto.
