Lazio could miss out on key striker target
Rumours from a host of Italian media had suggested that Claudio Lotito wanted to bring former AC Milan striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar back to Serie A.
However, as Il Corriere dello Sport reveals this morning, the Holland hit-man wants € 5 million a year to join the biancocelesti, definitely too much for Lotito’s finances.
The same goes for Robin Van Persie, another Lazio target who wants to leave his current team at the end of the season but who will only accept a very reach contract offer.
