Lazio flirts with Montella. Thiago misses Barca!
With a spectacular comeback Catania managed to stop Napoli and boss Vincenzo Montella has good reasons to be happy about it.
The Aeroplanino might have made himself a favour considering that Lazio have moved forward in the table thanks to Catania’s exploit at the San Paolo. And next season, Montella may be the man to lead the Biancocelesti in Champions League.
“Montella is an excellent coach and in football nothing is impossible,” revealed Lazio President Claudio Lotito.
“If I will continue being the President, there is a chance that our paths will coincide. But for now these are just rumours.”

Huge blow for Milan which will have to do without Thiago Silva for over a month. The Brazilian defender picked up an injury during the Serie A game against Roma.
Thiago will miss the upcoming Champions League clash against Barcelona.
The Rossoneri can still count on Philippe Mexes and Alessandro Nesta, but the injury of Thiago Silva significantly reduces their chances to succeed both in Champions League and Serie A.

Director Pantaleo Corvino is set to leave Fiorentina in the summer and according to reports he may be joining Sampdoria.
Corvino will leave the Viola after a long and successful spell in which they led the club to Champions League. But the last unfortunate seasons have compromised his relationship with the fans and the Della Valle family.
The director has also been linked to Inter but will most probably accept the challenge to take on another prestigious Italian club which has fallen behind and lead them to top flight football like he did with Fiorentina.
