Lazio, Sinisa Mihajlovic shortlisted to replace Simone Inzaghi: all the names

Lazio could change their manager again in the summer after sacking Stefano Pioli less than two months ago.

Simone Inzaghi’s results as the team’s interim manager are not satisfying and the biancocelesti have shortlisted a host of managers who could take over as the team’s new coach in the 2016-17 campaign.

SINISA MIHAJLOVIC – The former AC Milan boss is Claudio Lotito’s priority. The Serbian tactician played for Lazio during his playing career, but doubts over his team’s style of play and defensive mentality are mounting and could cost him the opportunity of going back to the Olimpico with a coaching role.

GIAN PIERO VENTURA – The Torino boss’ style of play is appealing and Claudio Lotito loves appointing wise managers with a great Serie A experience (Edi Reja). Trouble is, someone inside the biancocelesti control room believes Lazio need something fresher to turn the team’s fortunes around.

MARCELO BIELSA – As previously reported ‘El Loco’ could be the right man at the right time. Currently jobless, Bielsa is Igli Tare’s favourite choice as he would add some European experience to the team.

MAZZARRI, PRANDELLI & THE OTHERS – Walter Mazzarri could be an option, but doubts are mounting over his relationship with Claudio Lotito. Cesare Prandelli would love the get a new job in a Serie A club after coaching Fiorentina Italy national team and Galatasaray. Former Lazio player Massimo Oddo has been also linked with the Lazio job alongside his Crotone counterpart Iva Juric. The emerging Serie B bosses have been chased also by Torino and Genoa.
