Live: Inter to meet with Chelsea target today, could ease Perisic move to Man Utd
The Nerazzurri could lose Ivan Perisic to Manchester United in the current transfer window, and landing the former Barcelona youth - who is liked by Chelsea - may facilitate Perisic’s departure.
Pasquale Guarro confirms that Inter are set to meet both with the 22-year-old, who scored 16 Serie A goals last season, as well as his entourage today. Previous reports had indicated that it would happen in the week.
The Nerazzurri have already agreed to a deal with Lazio over the former Liverpool target, but need to persuade Keita himself.
Keita’s deal expires next summer, explaining why the likes of Manchester United and Juventus have expressed an interest. The 22-year-old’s relations with Lazio aren’t thawing, and he wants to play for a winner.
This explains why he wants Juventus, but not Milan, who were ready to meet Lazio’s asking price of 30 million.
