Liverpool and Southampton to fight it out for Turkish winger

Young Turkish winger Emre Mor has told Borussia Dortmund that he wants more game time next season and has expressed his desire to head out on-loan. The Mirror reports that the Bundesliga side have given him the green-light to do this and this could now set up another head to head confrontation between Liverpool and Southampton.

The Merseyside giants have been linked with the 19-year-old in the past and boss Jurgen Klopp still has the player on his radar. Southampton however, are understood to have contacted the German side about a season-long loan deal with tensions between the two clubs set to continue.

Liverpool’s failed attempt to sign Virgil van Dijk, which resulted in the south-coast club reporting them to the Premier League for making an illegal approach and the Reds making a formal apology, has strained relationships and these latest reports will do nothing to ease the bad blood between the two clubs.
