Liverpool embark on the next part of their pre-season campaign as they head to Germany to take part in the Audi Cup in Munich. All the attention however, continues to focus on Brazilian play-maker Philippe Coutinho who latest reports suggest is the subject of a new £80M offer from Barcelona.
 

The Catalan side has already seen a £72M bid rejected by the Premier League side but after reports of more negotiations between the two clubs in London earlier this week, an improved offer is on the way. Coutinho meanwhile will travel with the rest of the squad with his future still very uncertain.
 

Another player whose Anfield career is in doubt is German midfielder Emre Can. The 23-year-old is in the final 12 months of his contract and is understood to be the priority target of Serie A champions Juventus. The Daily Star writes that he will also be heading to his homeland with a question mark hanging over his future on Merseyside.
