Liverpool join battle for free agent defender
According to the Spanish website Don Balon, Jurgen Klopp has submitted contract offer to the 28-year-old defender and Caceres could join Anfield Road for nothing from next season.
Caceres can play as central defender or right-back and the German boss is looking for a versatile defender who can be deployed in both positions.
Trouble is, Milan and Inter and Fenerbache are also interested in the player’s services and they could convince Caceres to move there in January, before the end of his contract with the Old Lady.
