Liverpool prepare offer for PSG starlet
The 21-year-old centre-back’s contract runs until 2018, but the promising defender is believed not to be interested in signing a new deal with the Ligue1 giants with Jurgen Klopp who is reportedly ready to offer the U-21 French International an escape from the Parc des Princes.
Kimpembe is imposing himself as one of the most interesting prospects in Europe, having already registered eight appearances with the French side so far this season.
Liverpool are planning to offload Kimpembe’s compatriot Mamadou Sakho in the January window and Klopp would welcome the versatile PSG defender with open arms at Anfield Road.
The Reds, however, would only consider placing an official bid in the 2017 summer transfer window, rather than making a first approach in January, when PSG are not going to listen to any offer for the exciting product of their academy.
