According to reports out of England via The Mirror, Liverpool have rejected a 10.5 million GBP offer from Napoli for left back Alberto Moreno. The Spanish player is expected to be an alternative should Faouzi Ghoulam depart the club. Interestingly, in the last few days the Napoli player has been linked to Liverpool. Alberto Moreno did not feature for the Reds as much as he would have liked, but the club still rates him highly.

Moreno only managed to start 2 games for Liverpool this season, while being used as a substitute in 10 more. The 24 year old former Sevilla man fits the mold for Napoli, but his price tag will have to be negotiated should a deal be pushed through. As of yet, the will of the player remains relatively unknown, whether he is happy in England as a substitute or ready for a new challenge with a different club abroad.
