Liverpool target declares love for current club

Liverpool’s chase for Naby Keita may have taken a slight blow, as the 22-year -old has declared his love for the city of Leipzig, according to the Belfast Telegraph.

The rumours surrounding the RB Leipzig move to Merseyside are unlikely to stop, though, as Reds manager Jürgen Klopp, much like other major club bosses, is a big admirer of the Guinea midfielder, despite a whopping £70m price tag being slapped on by his current side.

"I love Leipzig. And I will never forget this city," the told German newspaper Welt.
The starlet helped his newly promoted side to an astounding second place finish in the Bundesliga last season, much to the annoyance of some German league supporters, who are not in favour of the club’s connection to conglomerate Red Bull.

The midfielder has been linked to clubs before, but with Liverpool able to offer him Champions League football as well as his current side, plus a chance to prove himself in the Premier League, it’s a deal that could materialise yet.
