Los Angeles FC and MLS ready to welcome ex Inter star to America

As ESPN reports, Wesley Sneijder will not return to Serie A to either Sampdoria or Bologna. It seems that the United States and a new challenge abroad will be the next destination for the Dutch player.  The ex-Inter midfielder, who is considered to be out of Galatasaray's plans by Igor Tudor, will move to the American Major League Soccer (MLS), and  he will be handed Los Angeles FC’s first designated player slot.

The new franchise will begin its participation in the league in 2018. Reports are lining up a 3.5 million EUR per season deal for the Dutch attacking midfielder, who will stay with Galatasaray until January and then move to California. Los Angeles FC (LAFC) is the California city’s second major club after the LA Galaxy, former club of well known David Beckham. Wesley Sneijder may not quite attract the amount of attention as the English fashion star and his equally famous wife, but on the field the 33 year old still has much to offer the American game.
