Lotito: ‘Marotta apologized over Keita Balde’

Keita Balde is one of the most wanted footballers in Serie A. The Senegalese winger has already informed Lazio that he’s not going to sign a contract extension with the club with Juve and AC Milan that are extremely interested in signing him.

The player is reported to have already reached an agreement with Juve but Lazio would prefer to sell him to AC Milan given that they have already agreed the player’s transfer fee with the rossoneri.

Yesterday Claudio Lotito told Italian media that Juventus begun negotiations with Keita without informing Lazio and today the biancocelesti’s no.1 has revealed that Juve CEO Marotta has apologized with him.

“He said he’s sorry but he also added that he has nothing to do with Keita’s refusal to sign a contract extension with Lazio”, he told Il Messaggero.

The capitolines want € 30 million to sell the product of Barcelona academy although Keita’s contract expires in 2018 and could be leaving Lazio for free at the end of next season.
